By the way. The last one has all the options. I'm not that good yet. My mother made that one...

I am interested in beginning and want to begin with a dummy that does everything. Do you have a varity to choose from and do you take special orders?

What pointers can you give me as a beginner?

Hi Linda,

Yes, I take special orders. The most important advice I can give you is to practice the ventriloquist alphabet in front of a mirror until you are satisfied that your lips aren't moving. Move on to a simple dialogue. Practice in front of the mirror again and practice with your dummy. People are constantly moving when they sit so try to keep your dummy moving. It makes a more lifelike appearance if he is constantly squirming or moving his head back and forth looking around. The more movement, the more the attention is drawn away from you an directed to your dummy. Over and over makes perfect. Use your family and friends once your comfortable to demonstrate your new talent. They can help point out things you might not have seen yourself. The more you practice, the better you'll get. Then soon you'll be ready for your first curtain call!
